Kwara United General Manager, Bashir Badawiy is optimistic of his team’s chances in the 2024 Federation Cup.
The Harmony Boys were crowned champions of the Kwara State Federation Cup after defeating Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS FC) in the final on Saturday.
Kwara United and ABS FC will represent the state in the nationals of the competition.
Badawiy believed that his team would go far in the competition despite the anticipated challenges.
“We have the capacity and capability to go far in the competition this time around, and rewrite history in the state’s representation in the Federation Cup,” he told the club’s media.
“I will want to thank the fans, supporters and the stakeholders for their support to the team.”
Kwara United were eliminated by Plateau United in the quarter-final stage of the competition last season.
